aquatherm in the NFL

Have you heard, perhaps some years ago, about the third coldest game in the history of the National Football League (NFL). The playoff game between Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks took place at -21 °C in the TCF Bank Stadium in Minnesota. Both, the national and the international press have reported on this event a lot.
Fortunately, in the fall of 2014 aquatherm have installed just in this stadium the first under-soil heating in the USA with aquatherm blue pipe, which were able to convince under these extreme conditions.
While the “live broadcast” of the most popular sport of the Americans, was an intensive discussion about our under-soil heating before the start of the match. We are glad that we were able to secure the detail of the transmission and we represent a video from Fox Sports reporter Jennifer Hale showed a cutaway of aquatherm pipe when explaining how well the field heating system was performing during the Vikings-Panthers game in November 2014 (video is available for download by pressing the following photo):

Aquatherm advantages:

• Using heat-fused aquatherm eliminated the need for roughly 4,000 mechanical joints, most of which would be buried beneath the playing
field.
• Designers liked that the entire field heating system, which included several hundred sections of pipe and thousands of fittings and manifolds
would be seamless.
Aquatherm handled the required higher-than-normal temperatures necessitated by the aggregate substrate beneath the synthetic turf field.
